A Place For Everyone

Adults
Our church family congregates each Sunday morning for weekly worship services at 9am and 11am.
We offer Sunday School for all ages at 10 a.m.
In addition to our regular Sunday gatherings, we also come together for special services on holidays and other meaningful occasions throughout the year.

Children
Our Children’s Ministry nurtures young hearts with God’s love through engaging activities, Bible stories, and age-appropriate lessons.
We create a safe and joyful environment where kids can grow in their faith, make friends, and discover their unique gifts in Christ.
Children’s programming is available from birth through 5th grade. Middle and High School Students make up our youth group.

Our Youth Program empowers teens to explore their faith, build lasting friendships, and serve their community.
Through dynamic worship, meaningful discussions, and exciting events, we equip our youth to navigate life’s challenges with confidence and a strong foundation in Christ.
Meet Our Pastor
Rev. Dr. Rita Hays, an ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church, was appointed as pastor of Greenbrier United Methodist in June of 2026. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Mercer University (magna cum laude), a Master of Religious Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry from Presbyterian Theological Seminary. Throughout her ministry, Rev. Rita has been passionate about teaching, spiritual formation, and helping congregations grow in faith and service. She has authored seven books and writes adult curriculum material for The United Methodist Publishing House and devotional materials for Warner Press. She is married to her husband, Bill, and together they are the parents of two adult sons and have two grandchildren. She enjoys reading, cheering on the Atlanta Braves, and attending Rod Stewart concerts!
